The Center for Young Women’s Health is a collaboration between the Division of Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine and the Division of Gynecology, Children’s Hospital Boston, Boston, MA. The website’s top-level topics are nutrition and fitness, sexuality and health, development, gynecology, and emotional health. Most content is available in both English and Spanish. Features include a blog by youth advisors and mentors, online chats with experts, quizzes, and parent guides.

Go Ask Alice!
Go Ask Alice! is a question-and-answer resource produced by the Alice! Health Promotion Program, a division of Health Services at Columbia University, New York, NY. Developed for Columbia students, it offers information for responsible decision making. Topics include relationships; sexuality; sexual, emotional, and general health; fitness; nutrition; and alcohol, nicotine, and other drugs.

KidsHealth: TeensHealth
TeensHealth is part of KidsHealth, an information resource from the Nemours Foundation’s Center for Children’s Health Media. Its Sexual Health section includes interactive diagrams of male and female reproductive organs. Other sections include body, mind, diseases, drugs and alcohol, expert answers, and food and fitness. There are English- and Spanish- language versions and a weekly newsletter.

Sex, Etc. is part of the Teen-to-Teen Sexuality Education Project developed by Answer, a national organization dedicated to providing and promoting comprehensive sexuality education to young people and the adults who teach them. Unique features include “get tested”, quizzes, and videos. This site has a variety of sexual health topics.

Teen Talk
Teen Talk is Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s sexual health website for teens. Sections include dating, family, and friends; body and mind; sex and masturbation; birth control; safer sex and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs); teen pregnancy (including parenting and adoption); abortion; and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, and questioning teens. Unique materials include games and videos. There are also tools for parents and educators.

Young Men’s Health
This is the male counterpart of the Center for Young Women’s Health site (above), from the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine, Children’s Hospital Boston, Boston, MA. Top-level topics are the same except for gynecology, and there are some reciprocal links between “guys’” and “girls’” versions of the same material. The young men’s site lacks Spanish content and some of its counterpart’s other features.
